The ElectroCell Particle Precipitator System uses electrolysis to remove 98% of particulate contaminants from open loop water. In addition to the particulate charging ionizer, the ElectroCell system uses a second, high-voltage ionizer to reduce the surface tension of the circulating cooling tower water.
